Slate paddlestone are a contemporary and distinctive by-product of slate roof tile manufacturing, tumbled to produce a smoother chipping; suitable for many uses including landscaping, rockeries and in aquatics as they are 'fish friendly' - safe for use near fish.
They do not alter the pH of the soil and can aide moisture retention. Paddlestones look very effective when used to edge an area of slate chippings (20mm/40mm).
N.B. The appearance of this product darkens when wet, as shown in third image on the left.
